This is the shocking moment a clueless UK driver ploughs his car into a cyclist on a busy street in Sheffield.

The footage, filmed by the cyclist using a GoPro during his daily commute, shows the car smashing into the cyclist’s bike and knocking him to the ground.

Miraculously, the cyclist was not seriously injured.

‘’Coming out of a side road I was face to face with a motorist who was making an illegal right turn, completely cutting the corner, and he smashed straight into me,’’ the cyclist later explained online.

‘’He wasn't looking, and was still accelerating at the point of impact.’’

‘’I was thrown off my bike, but aside from feeling a bit bashed up and the bike was a write off though,’’ he continued.

‘’The driver accepted full liability and his insurance have taken care of new bike and compensation costs.’’
