Vlogger exposes water shortage at Cape Town's largest dam
Today is World Water Day 2018.
In this video from the Newsflare archive, YouTuber Adam Spires reports on the state of Cape Town's major dam and water supplies.
The video, filmed in May 2017, shows Spires as he videos himself and uses drone footage to show the dam, which is now mostly dry.
To this day, Cape Town is still suffering from a serious drought and the taps will inevitably go dry.
Although "day zero" – the day the city will run out of water – has been pushed back until July, its residents are still struggling with water rationing.
