These amazing shots show a daring urban explorer standing on top of a 70m tower crane in front of Wednesday night's massive supermoon.

Photographer Matt Sweeney teamed up with Bristol urban explorer Dylan Rhodes to capture the amazing images in Clifton, Bristol.

The incredible pictures show Dylan scaling the crane on a building site in Clifton while it sways in the wind.

“It was very windy. There’s a photo of me standing on the very tippy-top – I had to wait 15 or 20 minutes for the wind to die down, the crane was swaying around so much.”

Photographer Matt explained: “Tower cranes are left in neutral overnight so they move with the wind. Normally you can predict where the moon will come up and arrange the shot.

“I was shooting from half a kilometre away with a telescope lens – I was running around the downs trying to line up Dylan in front of the moon”
