A selfie-crazy Indian teen climbed an 80-feet mobile tower with his bicycle to take a photo and came down leaving it behind.

Residents of Manasa Road, in Neemuch city, Central India, noticed the cycle perched atop the tower and alerted the police on January 30.

The police got the cycle down with difficulty and managed to track down the teen, Rohith Sagarwal, 19, a student of a local college.
They found videos in his possession showing him performing risky stunts atop mobile towers, while clicking himself with a selfie stick.
S Sisodia, Police Insector of Neemuch, said: “Rohith is obsessed with taking selfies. We called him along with his parents to the station and counselled them. We told them that he would be booked if he tried the stunts again.”

Rohit’s parents have grounded him and taken away the mobile phone.
A friend of Rohit, Vijay, told reporters: “He climbs towers saying they scare him and give him a thrill.”
A selfie craze is sweeping Indian youth prompting many of them to pull life-threatening stunts. A few days ago, a man survived after being knocked down by a train, while attempting a selfie in Hyderabad.
