Jumping on cars, setting fireworks and attempting to bring down street lights - it was quite an evening in Philadephia overnight as Eagles fans celebrated their team's first-ever Super Bowl victory.

Thousands of supporters took the streets of the city centre to celebrate following their victory over the New England Patriots on Sunday (February 4).

In video captured by Eagles fan Johann Detter, a 27-year-old finance worker who lives in Conshohocken, suburban Pennsylvania, one fan actually prevents another from downing the lamppost.

Another man halfway up another lamppost catches an item thrown to him by somebody on the ground, to cheers from those below, while others can be seen on top of a car.
