Taiwan quake destroys three floors of building
Taiwan’s earthquake destroyed three floors of a multi-purpose building in Hualien county, causing it to partially collapse yesterday and leaving two dead.
Rescue efforts were continuing following the quake, which struck late on February 6.
The footage shows the Yuncui building - made up of flats and shops - tilting at a near-45-degree angle and on the brink of collapse.
Two of the four confirmed casualties so far are known to be from this building, according to Chinese state television.
A total of 49 people were missing from this building, according to reports.
