On 6/6/2015 I was on Allegiant Flight 514 From Las Vegas, Nevada to Fresno, California. It's a short 50 min flight. As the Flight Attendant was checking passengers to ensure they had their seatbelts on and trays in an upright position for takeoff the crew member noticed a woman seating adjacent to me was on her cellphone. The flight attendant politely asked her to power off her device. The black woman ignored her. The flight attendant explained to her that it was federal law and she had to turn off her device. That's when the passenger said, "Bitch, you need to get out of my face!" and at that point the plane was already taxing down the runway. The flight attendant got on the phone with the captain and he announced that we were returning to the gate. That's where the filming began. I was going to film earlier but the crew asked me not to saying it could escalate the situation so I was trying to be discreet.
