This is the dramatic moment a wild cow attacks a little girl and her younger brother in Bhatkal, South West India.

The CCTV footage, captured on February 13, shows the children playing outside their house when the cow approaches and suddenly rams into them.

Arati, 8, then takes Kartik, 2, in her arms in an attempt to protect him from the cow - which keeps hitting them with its horns.

After hearing the children screaming, relatives and nearby residents appear in the scene and manage to shoo the cow away with a stick.

In a dramatic incident, an aggressive cow took to the streets of the Navilgona village of Bhatkal, Uttara Kannada district where it ran wildly on the road and aimed to hit a baby outside his house. Fortunately, his brave sister Arati 8 year old kept holding him in her arms and managed to save her younger brother Kartik whose age is 2.5 years from the cow.
Later, the residents and other members of the family came out to the children's screams and shooed the cow away with a stick.

This bond between the siblings is true love - perfect example of a miraculous escape.
