Sibinuang Railway left Simpang Haru Station Padang City to Pariaman City Station. This railway is one of the mass transportation modes in West Sumatra, although only serve one route (Padang - Pariaman). Although with a less good car, but its presence has helped residents for transportation needs. In West Sumatra, railway transportation facilities have been present since the colonial era or Dutch colonialism. formerly used to transport Coal from Sawahlunto to Teluk Bayur Port, transporting Cement from Semen Padang Factory in Indarung, as well as carrying other equipment. Now of many rails, only the path from Padang to Pariaman, from Indarung to Teluk Bayur, from Simpang Haru to Bayur Bay which is still functioning.
