Spacex Falcon 9 Dawn Launch as seen from Santa Clarita, CA
A Spacex Falcon 9 was launched at dawn on 2-22-2018 from Vandenberg Air Force Base in California , carrying a satellite into space. This portion of the launch shows the exhaust plume partially illuminated by the rising sun during the 1st stage separation. Filmed with a 100mm lens from over 100 miles away this footage shows a nice profile view of the launch at a distance as seen from Santa Clarita, California.
