London's Shard building hidden from view by heavy snow
Heavy snow in London this afternoon (February 27) has hidden one of the capital's tallest structures, the Shard, from view.
In video filmed this afternoon opposite London Bridge Station, the filmer pans up to reveal the outline of the Shard tower, which is 310 metres (1,017 feet) tall.
The building can hardly be made out because of the snow.
The heavy snowfall was due to a large cold front, popularly called "The Beast From The East", which is bringing snow, ice and cold winds across much of the UK.
