Dec 10 flew in from San Francisco to London Heathrow and our connecting flight to Zürich got canceled Due to icy condition at the airport , airport stopped completely, all flights were canceled in and out. Sunday to Monday we slept on the airport floor with 15,000 people at terminal five and no one give us any information from British Airways what’s happening what’s going on we didn’t got any hot beverages no blankets nothing. We were told our luggage is somewhere at the airport and we could not get it due to too many people and too many luggage is all over the place us so we have no luggage and we did not know how long we were supposed to stay until our next flight out, Monday morning 3 AM got in line again to get our ticket reissued this is when I took this video people were tired we had No information and 7 AM we been told there is no more flights out for anyone anymore . Basically we all were stuck at the airport for not sure how long and none of the British Airways people gave us information and this is when I took this video because one lady confronted a British Airways worker and the British Airways lady couldn’t say any thing about when we can fly out or how much longer we would have to stay at the airport . People cheered afterwords because everybody was so tired standing in line sleeping on the floor it was cold and a 10 AM we’ve been told no more flights out on Monday either so they told us to get a hotel, and we did, and we also have to get our own air plane ticket back to Switzerland or we were stuck for another 5 to 7 days at the airport on our own expense, and yes we got home three days after the original arriving date without our luggage, our luggage arrived for days later and two days ago , Finally two days ago I got 90% of the refund from British Airways, never ever again British Airways
