South African farmers have decided to use lions as security guards to patrol and protect their properties.

The footage, captured on February 24 in Limpopo Province, shows a farmer going for a car ride with a huge lion standing at the back of the vehicle.

White farmers have recently protested over fears of targeted attacks against them, and are now taking more extreme security measures with some resorting to breeding and keeping lions as pets.

Extreme security measures when you need a Lion to drive around with you !

Unfortunately this is reality in South Africa and are getting more and more common to witness.
Due to the extremely high murder rate on farmers in South Africa, they have to go to the extreme in security measures. Some have resorted to Lion breeding and even keeping them on as pets.
This video was taken in the Limpopo Province in the Far North of South Africa. Just a great video to share unfortunately this is the true story behind it.
As the government does little to help to stop the blatant murders on farmers they are forced to take this route. Currently the most dangerous profession in South Africa is being a white farmer. Although they supply most of the food and is feeding the nation, they are being murdered on a daily basis with very little media coverage or none.
Furthermore, the government announced a "yes" vote on a Land grab in South Africa without any compensation to the land/property/house owner last week !
