While trying a new trick on his BMX this rider crashed headfirst into the ground at a skatepark in Innsbruck, Germany.

The rider's helmet cracked but absorbed much of the impact and is shown later in the video, while the rider himself was stunned for a few seconds but otherwise was unharmed.

The trick was a double whip drop, which consists of spinning the bike around the rider two times. During the second spin, his leg blocked the rotation when it got jammed between the fork.

The relieved rider said: "Luckily I'm all good thanks to the helmet."

This ends up with me hitting my head super hard on the floor, I passed out for a few seconds and broke my helmet from the impact. luckily I'm all good thanks to the helmet.
