Fire at Bank Bottom Mill, Marsden, Huddersfied, West Yorkshire
Today 16:00 GMT. Smoke emanates from a building at the huge Bank Bottom Mill near Huddersfield. Numerous fire crews and paramedic teams were in attendance as noxious smoke made finding the seat of the fire impossible without thermal imaging equipment. The fire was eventually brought under control just before 18:00. According to a fire service source, this involved cutting through floorboards to douse the flames as the fire, believed to have been set by kids had burnt through the floorboards into the space below.
