For Science Education week this Australian Teacher, Jacob Strickling, set a construction task for his Physics class to construct working Direct Current Motors, Generators and Ammeters.
He was thrilled with the results and as the footage shows the home made equipment really worked well.
The projects were constructed from wood, magnets, wire, plastic, fidget spinners and some components were 3D printed.
Strickling thought that these were the best projects a class of his had ever produced.
