Historic remains of Forest on Redcar Beach
I went down to Redcar Beach
Historic remains of an ancient forest can be seen after the extreme weather had washed away the top layer of sand. It also revealed what was left of a shipwreck. This video only shows the ancient forest, I have made a separate video showing the remains of a Shipwreck.
These remains of the forest date back to the Ice Age.
Before they were covered over by sand, they had not been seen for nearly 50 years.
