This new cafe in Tokyo's bustling youth mecca of Shibuya is run completely by a robot.

Henna ("strange") Cafe's sole employee is Sawyer, the US-made robot that uses artificial intelligence and who has been trained to be the best barista in the world.

At the cafe, which opened in February 2018, customers place their orders via a touch screen, receive a QR code and a cup to give to the robot arm.

Sawyer then comes up with the goods in two to four minutes.

One cup of drip coffee costs 320 yen (about 2.15GBP or 3USD).

Henna cafe means "storage cafe". The travel agency "H.I.S." opened the cafe in Shibuya at the end of January 2018. A robots is waiting to serve coffee from the coffee machine and is also making drip coffee. The coffee is located at the Shibuya Modi commercial building in Shibuya Ward, Tokyo.
