British tourist attacks tuk-tuk driver for not finding him a ladyboy
A British tourist was filmed paying a taxi driver compensation and apologising after allegedly fighting - because he couldn't find a LADYBOY.
The man and his friend were riding around in the local's tuk tuk for several hours while trying to find a transsexual prostitute in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. But the taxi driver claimed the pair became aggressive at around 1.30am when their search was unsuccessful.
A tall male blonde tourist speaking with a Home Counties accent was filmed making a grovelling apology to the local cabbie while police in green uniforms watched and laughed.
The tourist says: ''I promise you, it's nothing. you check, you check, I promise, I promise, it's all I have. No, my friend, he said oK. I'm sorry. My friend, I'm so sorry. That's everything. I just wanted to see a ladyboy, that's all, I'm sorry.''
The pair eventually shake hands and make up, with the taxi driver pocketing a total of 80USD - around half his monthly salary - before driving away with a beaming smile. Police resolved the situation amicably and the names of both the tourists were not recorded, with the matter considered settled after compensation was paid to the driver.
The tuk-tuk driver said afterwards: ''I was driving them around since 3pm. A long time. A tour around the city of Phnom Penh. The two foreigners wanted a ladyboy girl and we were driving around until 1.30am in the morning. I could not find one for them. The men attacked me and injured me. The police came and they gave me 80 dollars.''
