It was strong wind for about the whole week in this area. At that day I woke up at 3am hearing my daughter coughing (but still sleeping). Coming to her room I saw outside of small window exposed to the forest side sharp orange light. I thought that the building next to ours is in fire but looking outside I saw the true hell on the whole hill behind the village. I went to the balcony and it was full of dust and embers coming with the wind from Mountains. We packed only necessary staff and tried to contact someone but tried to stay calm (not easy). We were told to stay in apartment (under roof one) that it is pretty normal. People from other hotels were running on the streets and locals sprinkled boats in the harbor.. The fire went from the mountains down to the coast to the urban area. Some of the hotels were evacuates – like the shooted hotel Sirena… people with suitcases were just running along the promenade..
