North Thailand experiencing very unhealthy air quality

The air quality index in Northern Thailand is indicating very unhealthy figures as high as 200 for PM2.5 particles in Chiang Mai where this video was filmed. For the past 48 hours the index showed a minimum of 119 and a maximum of 200. The UN recommends no more than a daily average of 25 . PM. 2.5 particles measure about one-third the width of a human hair,are invisible and lead to health problems including premature death. Air pollution causes 6.5 million deaths annually worldwide according to Lancet research. The video reporter filmed during an AQI reading of 187 today and is now obtaining medication for respiratory problems.
