Alligator crossing road brings traffic to a stop
This ice-cool alligator brought traffic to stand still as he swaggered across a busy road.
Drivers spotted the reptile strolling across the highway in South Carolina.
Cars driving in the opposite direction stopped to let the alligator pass while others slowed down to take a look.
The father-of-two who was on his way to work when he recorded the beast said it disappeared into nearby woodland.
He said: ‘’It’s really not that common to see an alligator in South Carolina. I was surprised because I’ve never witnessed one crossing the road especially with that much traffic. The alligator needs to be careful - he could get arrested for jay walking.’'
