Farmers Protest Irrigation Damage

Hundreds of farmers in the city of Padang, West Sumatra held a demonstration at City Hall. They urged immediate irrigation repair that broke down two years ago. Due to damaged irrigation, 1000 hectares of paddy fields and fish ponds are dry citizens.
The action began with a one-kilometer walk to the Padang City Hall Office at Pacah Air Area.
