Footage shows a blood-covered British tourist being treated at the roadside after a motorcycle crash in the early hours of this morning (Mon).

James Tennant, 22, was riding on the 125cc Honda scooter with a pal on the back when he swerved and lost control in Pattaya, Thailand, at 4am.

The holidaymaker suffered sever cuts to his face with blood staining his shirt. He was bandaged up at the roadside before being carried away on a stretcher.

A four-back of Chang beers were also smashed in the accident.

Paramedic Monthira Wattana from the Sawang Boribun rescue group that attended said the tourists lost control while approaching a roundabout.

She said: ''At the scene we found that some people had given treatment to the injured man, James Tennant, 22, of British citizenship.

''He was sitting on a bench in front of a massage shop and had cuts in his mouth. Another friend of the same nationality was helping him. The victims were in a drunken state and taken to Pattaya Memorial Hospital for treatment to their injuries.

''The injured said they were boxers and on holiday. At the scene were also many smashed bottles.''
