GoingEastwards - Stopping underneath a waterfall

Buy video

A glimpse of my GoingEastwards trip. An overland solo motorcycle adventure from the Netherlands towards India, made by me Robert Jan van der Kaaij (30,09,1987) in 2015 (28 years old at the time). Covering a distance of 17.086km in 3 months on my first motorcycle (a simple commuter's bike; Honda NTV 650cc from 1995) with just a year of driving experience. The goal was to see how far I could push myself and my motorcycle. The videos are captured with a GoPro.

Taking a break underneath a waterfall to cool down and stay clear and awake during my ride on one of the most dangerous roads in the world. This video was made in Indian Himilayas on the notorious section between Kishwar and Killar. You can clearly see the extremely rough road and steep cliffs.
