Its Dec 4th 2013. All the weather warnings had been for the East UK coast. Then the storm also decided to go West, as it were, on the 5th. The storm barrelled down the West coast and did considerable damage, turning one of the two main routes into the area into a river. There was a considerable tidal surge as you can imagine. So I had got my Wellies on and a good waterproof coat and headed down my road to the sea front to capture the video shots. I estimated that the wind was gusting some 45-55 knots and for some of the shots I had to film from a public shelter.
