Household chores just got fun! Dad and daughter hack a go-kart

A science-mad dad and his daughter decided to make household chores a lot more fun by adapting a go-kart so that she could take out the rubbish (trash) in style.

Using a furniture trolley, a plastic seat and some wood and screws they made a type of trailer with a seat on it to attach to 11-year-old Mikalah's electric go-kart.

"Mikalah just loads the trash can onto the moving trolley, and then lays the trolley flat and attaches it simply to the go-kart," said dad Jacob Strickling.

"Mikalah then drives the go-kart up the long driveway to the road where she is then able to deposit the trash can to be collected," he added.

The video was filmed in Terrigal, Australia on April 2.
