Lapwings coping with the wild weather
At this time of the year in the early spring the Lapwings return to their breading grounds to nest. With the recent cold weather they have had to put nesting on hold until the weather improves.
This footage shows Lapwings coping with very strong easterly winds blowing the heavy snow sideways with some birds trying to feed and others just snuggling down sitting it out.
