Raccoon with Jar Stuck on Head

Buy video

Brad and Katy Lundsteen of Suburban Wildlife Control in suburban Chicago were called in to help rescue a young raccoon with a jar stuck on its head, crying and wandering aimlessly around in the road. They arrived quickly and got straight to it, prying off the jar while their children (that happened to be working with them that day) watched in awe. The raccoon, whom had just been whining and whimpering suddenly became quite ferocious after realizing he was free and surrounded by humans and Brad grabbed him and put him in a cage, taking him to a veterinary wildlife rehabber and after a brief mandatory stay and a clean bill of health he was released back into the wild. But not all animals are so lucky, and that is why Katy & Brad bring a message following the rescue to appeal to people to pick up trash & rubbish and do your part to help keep animals from being injured and killed, and to keep our beautiful earth clean.
