This teenager's attempt to slide down a handrail went drastically wrong - when he fell over the side and landed on his bottom.

Neto Guadalupe, 19, sat at the top of the metal railing on a bridge over a busy road in Puebla, Mexico, on March 30.

But within seconds of beginning his descent down the blue bar, he slipped backwards and spun round in the air before landing on his backside.

Footage captured Neto's fall and his sheepish reaction after - clearly embarrassed by his botched attempt and sliding down the handrail.

Friends filming the stunt-gone-wrong rush to their pal’s aid and find the young man clutching his wrist in pain.
