A stubborn baby elephant kept trying to wrestle with his big brother despite the obvious size difference.

In the video, the baby elephant is seen bumping into his big brother repeatedly while the big brother tries to push him aside.

“On a recent safari in Kruger National Park, South Africa, we came across a herd of elephants and our attention was grabbed by two young elephant brothers locked in a wrestle match,” the filmer said. “The tenacious baby elephant adamantly takes on his big brother in a fearless manner.”

“Through head-butting, pushing and shoving these, males establish rank between themselves and develop skills that they will use to win dominance later in life,” the filmer continued. “Clearly, this determined little fellow does not believe that size matters.”

Within an area, bull elephants establish a local hierarchy from early in life through ritualised play fighting and wrestling. Through head-butting, pushing and shoving these males establish rank between themselves and develop skills that they will use to win dominance later in life. Size and age is majority of the time an indication of one male’s dominance over another. Clearly this determined little fellow does not believe that size matters. The stubborn youngster even gets pushed to the ground by his big brother on two occasions. Every time he goes down, he gets back up and continues to wrestle his much bigger brother. This baby elephant was a great example on how to be fearless of those challenges much bigger than yourself.
