Last Big Storm of Winter hits Porthleven, Cornwall
Porthleven locals are hoping this will be the Last Storm of Winter which is battering the tiny fishing port just days beofre its annual Food Festival starts. Heavy ocean swells from a passing deep low pressure system are sending massive waves in excess of twenty five feet over cars parked on the pier road, and huge amounts of spray over the holiday cottages on the seaward side of the town. There's another high tide tonight, better move that car!
