Impartial? Hardly! Clumsy linesman slips up while celebrating goal
A clumsy assistant referee has been caught on camera cheering a team scoring a free-kick - and then hilariously falling over on the pitch.
In the video, shot on November 19, 2017, in Trentino, northern Italy during a Seconda Categoria (second-category) league match between home side Mezzocorona and Predaia C.R. d'Anaunia, a yellow-shirted Predaia player strikes an impressive free kick into the net from about 25 yards out.
The free kick strike made it 2-1 to Predaia and ended up being the winning goal.
As the player peels away to celebrate, he is joined by his ecstatic teammates - and an unexpected guest, the assistant referee.
The assistant appears to want to join in the celebrations but, with his flag in hand, he falls over and then, bizarrely, starts to roll off towards the side of the pitch.
