Drone footage shows Accrington Stanley fans' pitch invasion after promotion
Football fans of one of the smallest teams in the English league staged a pitch invasion last night after their team secured promotion to League One.
Drone footage at full time shows fans of Accrington Stanley invading the pitch after the team’s home victory at Crown Ground against Yeovil, which guaranteed promotion from League Two, the fourth tier of the English football league.
Accrington is a small town in Lancashire with an English Football League tradition dating back more than 100 years.
In the 1980s, the team became best known for a mocking reference in a TV commercial for milk.
