Pilot has miracle escape after crashing his plane upside down into a field
A pilot had a miracle escape and walked away with only minor injuries after crashing his plane upside down into a field.
The single-engined Cessna came to rest, upside down, in a field near St Agnes, Cornwall.
Reports have it that the pilot lost control of the plane when his engine failed, and he plummeted silently towards the ground.
The pilot, who was the only person on board the light aircraft, not only survived the crash, but was reported to be in good spirits as he strolled out of the field.
