Star ferries still going strong after 130 years in Hong Kong
Hong Kong's Star ferries have been crossing Victoria Harbour for 130 years, between Kowloon and Hong Kong Island. They have managed to compete with buses,metro and cars and are widely used. The twelve ferries carry over 70,000 passengers a day, 26 million a year at very low prices. A tourist must do, there's a certain romanticism about them.
