An elephant stunned tourists when he was seen casually strolling through a camping site's car park.

Dozens of travelers had been bedding down for the night when the massive bull pachyderm stomped past.

The elephant - known as 'big brother' - seemed oblivious to the campers who were watching nervously as plodded by them.

Big Brother then disappeared into the jungle at the Khao Yai national park in Nakhon Nayok, Thailand on March 5.

Onlooker Noom Sopita, 35, said: ''Big Brother came walking down late in the evening.

''I was very nervous, my heart was beating fast.

''People were worried about their cars or tents being damaged.

''I felt relieved when he walked away.''
