Dog rescued after getting head stuck in tin
Wildlife rescuers were called after this hapless dog was found running round in circles - with its head stuck in an old tin.
The pet pooch had wandered away from its home and into woodland in Bueng Kan province, north east Thailand, on April 15.
He was curiously sniffing in a discarded metal tin - before getting his head firmly stuck inside.
A passer-by noticed the struggling hound and called in animal workers - who carefully caught the dog despite him continuing to run away when they were near.
Pliers were used to cut the metal tin open and free the relieved pooch, who was re-united with his owner from a nearby village.
Animal catcher Pattawee Wattana from the Sawangsriwilai Judsriwilai Foundation said the dog was around three years old.
She added: ''We found him lost inside the rubber plantation behind the village. It was sad, I felt sorry for him. But we did our job successfully and he was saved so we're happy.''
