Time lapse footage of artwork being installed in Doncaster. This sculpture designed by artist Chris Brammall was erected on the 26th April 2018 along the newly opened Great Yorkshire Way and shows the sculpture being lifted into place by a 50 tonne & 200 tonne crane. The sculpture which is based on Welcome To Yorkshires iconic yellow Y , will see the Tour De Yorkshire's peleton race past in just a weeks time. Tourists in the area and travelling to and from Doncaster Sheffield will also see this bright yellow artwork which is a permanent fixture. Once the groundworks are completed , it will have a cycle route which starts and finishes at the sculpture as well as a place to park for you to take a selfie with it.
