Great Hammerhead shark bites underwater camera

Buy video

While spotting a Great hammerhead shark from onboard a boat, I dropped my camera down underwater to see what it could record. It captured this curious 5 meter long Hammerhead trying to bite my camera. This was clearly a "test/curiosity" bite as the camera was not damaged. Sharks are like young human babies in that they use their mouths to try and feel what something is. Lucky for my camera! We spot these shark regularly here on the Island of Eleuthera, Bahamas where I live.
