“Atletico Madrid advanced to the Europe League final 2-1 on aggregate after a 1-0 victory over Arsenal at the Wanda Metropolitano on Thursday,” ESPN reported.

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger said he was “very sad" and “very disappointed" at a press conference after the match.

“Wenger now faces three more Premier League games, starting with a farewell to the Emirates Stadium against Burnley on Sunday, before he leaves the club he has managed for 22 years,” The Evening Standard said.
