This Afternoon The ALS Ride for Life made its way across Long Island today. At about 2:00pm the group including founder Christopher Pendergast rode there way into Ward Melville High School located at 380 Old Town Road in Setauket. Other stops today they made prior to Ward Melville High School included: Miller Place High School, Mount Sinai Middle School/Elementary School, Port Jefferson High School, Comsewouge High School (Port Jefferson Station), Terryville Elementary School (Port Jefferson Station), John F. Kennedy Middle School (Port Jefferson Station) and Ward Melville High School. Dozen's of students from Ward Melville High School gathered in front of the High School to welcome and cheer on the ALS Ride For Life. According to the ALS Ride for Life, this is the first year they have made a stop at Ward Melville High School in Setauket.
