Deafening submarine sonar noises while scuba diving
While diving on the east coast of Andros island in the Bahamas, we could hear this noise getting louder and louder. It became so loud the captain could hear it on the boat at the surface. The nearby navy base were out testing their submarines and ships and we could certainly here them! Very unusual experience. You can clearly hear the sonar sounds at 3, 40 and 1.17 into the video. We were diving right on the edge of the tongue of the ocean. A 2000 meter drop off perfect for submarines!
