The dancers entertain tourists in life jackets sitting on the floating mats at a lake in Kanchanaburi, Thailand.

In a strange contrast to the serene surroundings - an area of natural beauty - high energy techno blares out over the Sinakharin lake in Si Sawat district.

The party raft tours have become a huge hit with holidaymakers. Dancers in hot pants and tiny tops are even laid on for night time parties in the log cabin.

Guest Andreas Heinemann from Berlin, Germany, said: ''This was a bit different from our usual boat trips but we wanted to try it. I was not sure what to do at first but everybody joins in and starts to dance.''

Boss Khun Poludom said: ''It's great fun. People normally think that boating is very quiet. But we make it exciting with the dancers.''
