Sleep-eating, carb-loading baby
My 17-month-old daughter Poppy fell asleep while eating lunch. She’d had a rough morning, so I loaded her tray up with her favorite foods (all carbohydrates) in order to buy myself some time to send a few work emails. When I first looked up and saw her closing her eyes, I thought something was terribly wrong, because who can sleep while they eat?! But as soon as I figured out that she was just soooo sleepy, I started videoing. I was laughing so hard that it was hard to keep the camera still. It was actually a silly dream come true for me- I’ve always wanted one of my kids to fall asleep while eating!
