Bizarre road accident 'insurance scam'
Bizarre footage of an elderly woman throwing herself at a stopped car in an apparent insurance scam in Kowloon, Hong Kong.
The driver said he stopped at the zebra crossing when he saw the woman dragging her suitcase across the road.
He beeped the horn as she ran over to his vehicle and hurled herself onto the bonnet before collapsing onto the road on March 9 at 7.19am.
The driver said there were no injuries to the woman and suggested the fall was an attempt at a road insurance scam.
Police were called but no further action was taken after officers reviewed the car's dash cam footage.
