Giant Otter (Pteronura brasiliensis)
As a professional Wildlife Guide, I get to travel to some pretty exciting destinations from tracking Snow Leopards in Ladakh and China, Jaguars in Brazil, Spoon-billed Sandpipers in Thailand to Spring migration on the NE China coast. This particular video was shot in the Brazilian Pantanal from a boat out of Porto Jofre on the Transpantaneira. The rivers in this region are very good for this rather iconic species and we are rarely disappointed, often bumping into a group whilst out looking for Jaguar.
