Man surprises girlfriend with marriage proposal on her graduation day
This is the touching moment a man proposes to his girlfriend following her graduation ceremony.
The footage, captured outside Southern University in Baton Rouge, southern Louisiana, shows James Clark giving an emotional speech to congratulate his girlfriend Marquell- who can be seen holding a bouquet of flowers as she stands next to him.
James Clark then gets down on one knee and asks for her hand in marriage. She immediately accepts and they both hug.
The filmer writes: ‘’They have always been told they are ‘goals’ and such but when James proposes at her graduation it takes things to the next level.
‘’They have been breaking the internet since Friday with over 2.5 million views.’’
The clip was filmed by the couple’s parents on May 11.
