Cat rescue nearly goes horribly wrong after feline gets prodded by giant bamboo stick
A cat had a lucky escape when it fell five feet after getting stuck in a tree in China's Dandong City on May 6.
The video shows a man using a bamboo stick to try to shake the cat down from the huge tree while a group of people hold a piece of cloth under it to catch the animal.
Since the cat does not want to jump down, another man climbs onto the tree and uses the stick to try to approach it again.
Finally, the cat falls - to screams from onlookers - as it bounces around from branch to branch.
But fortunately, the people holding the cloth under the tree are able to catch it successfully.
