Boat Tour Stops to Save a Gull Wrapped in Fishing Line
During an eco-tour of Delaware Bay near Cape Henlopen, Delaware, some of the tourists spotted an Immature Herring Gull wrapped in fishing line. The captain of the boat navigated toward the wooden pillar the bird had been tied to. The naturalists from the eco-tour retrieved the gull and removed the fishing line. Afterward, the gull was able to float and walk onto the beach.
